Red can check whether a company has the setup needed for common tasks.
Depending on the request, Red can review areas such as:
- The company financial year.
- VAT rates.
- Analysis categories.
- Products.
- Sales representatives.
- Transaction settings.
- Reference settings.
- Other setup required before preparing supported transactions.
Red separates important issues from recommendations so you can see what needs attention.
Try asking Red:
- “Is this company ready to create sales invoices?”
- “Check whether this company is ready for Sales and Purchases.”
- “What setup is missing from this company?”
- “Why is this company ready with warnings?”
- “What is this company’s current financial year?”
- “Are all my connected companies configured the same way?”
- "Do I have allocations enabled?"
- "Is Vat on Cash Receipts (VOCR) turned on?"
Red reports one of four overall readiness results:
Ready
Ready with warnings
Not ready
Connection problem
The readiness check reviews overall company setup. For a particular transaction, Red can perform a more focused check of the relevant transaction settings, VAT configuration, reference settings and transaction date.
A missing supplier may be reported as a purchase-setup warning without preventing the company from being ready for Sales Invoices. Manual reference settings may also be reported as a warning rather than a blocker.
A transaction date outside the current financial year is a warning. Big Red Cloud makes the final decision about whether the transaction can be accepted.
